April ... spring is in the air

Yes I know it's May 2 but here is my April tag for Tim's 12 tags of 2015.
Here is what I used to make this tag:
Black Manilla tag
Time stencil
Bronze distress paint

Tombo markers on wings
grunge paper in the shapes of gears on the side
green bakers twine

It's time for a fresh beginning

Well I am just making it under the wire for March's  tag. I have to admit I was stumped with this one. Stumped in the sense that every time I went to go make the marbled or multi coloured effect on the tag  it looked like I dragged it through the mud. And there lies my problem. I was dragging it too much. Anyway I am following my theme of finding myself after the ending of my 14 year marriage.

Down a scary road

Tim Holtz February Inspired Tag

I have to admit I was a little bit scared doing this tag as the theme deals with love and lets just say me and love are having a time out right now.  But I pulled up my boot straps and marched on. 
Anyway, I  took this months theme and focused it on the journey I am taking this year. I think it turned out great! Thanks Tim for always sharing your amazing talent . Can't wait to see what March brings.

It's 2015 time to start a new.....

Well many things have happen in 2014 and I can truly say I've never been happier to see a year fade into the past as I have this one.
I started this blog a long time ago but as I have noticed I just didn't keep it up. Not to say that I will do better this time around but here is to hoping!
I know at least once a month I  will be posting my 12 tags of 2015 as inspired by Tim Holtz.
